Found some older games with no prices. Ed tells me he's trying to get rid of them and says to name my price. I ask if $50 would be fine... He then proceeds to take one and spend over ten minutes trying to look it up for on his phone. He finally tells me $25 then goes to the next game, despite me upping my offer to $75 just to get the things over with. I give up and leave. So much for 'naming my price'. He might be a vet, but you never trust a convicted felon.
Ed is the nicest man! His shop is well stocked and he had so many beautiful things! We will stop and shop here every time we are in this area. We LOVE Ed!!!!
The man that owns this pawn shop is a great man....we were in there looking for a ring with a square stone and white gold but they didn't have one that was what I wanted but he gave my future husband a pocket watch he was looking at because he didn't have the ring I wanted.....GREAT MAN ...I definitely recommend Mr. Thornton's pawn shop 👍
Wanted to get my husband a ring and the man said it was n case by mistake. But it was n a box with price on it. He must of decided he wanted it. Not a good way to do business
Ed was kind and fun to talk to while I was browsing. Wasn't looking for anything in particular. Found a German 5 Mark coin which I sought to buy, instead he gifted it to me as a welcome gift as I am moving into the community from Georgia. I will be back!
