Super rude and asked me to leave when I said I was a retired service man. I'll not be back... ever.

I won't name names but two people who are usually manning the front have the WORST ATTITUDES I've ever seen. In my opinion they don't just low ball they go lower than that and the unfriendly irritated attitude makes a bad experience worse. I used to consider them friends but now I don't care to ever see or speak to them again. Too bad. Such a good family business is ruined by two girls miserable and mad have to ruin it by treating people this way. I wouldn't go there to save my life now. After my firearm was stolen and pawned here, I faced repeated rudeness and resistance when trying to recover it, even with proof of ownership. The owner or manager treated me like I was at fault, showing zero empathy or customer service. This shop appears to lack respect for both customers and the law. For anyone in a similar situation, Tennessee Code § 45-6-213 outlines your rights to reclaim stolen property from a pawn shop once you provide proof of ownership, such as a police report and other relevant documents. Here’s a summary of the law: 1. Notification: You must notify the pawn shop by certified mail or in person with a signed receipt, including a detailed description of the item and a copy of the police report. 2. 10-Day Resolution Period: The pawnbroker must hold the item and work with you in good faith to resolve the claim within 10 days. 3. If Unresolved: If not resolved in 10 days, you may file a court petition to reclaim the property, requiring the shop to hold it until a court decides, or law enforcement can place a hold order on the item. Costs and Outcomes: Filing the court case comes with no filing fees or sheriff’s service fees in these cases, so pursuing your claim shouldn’t incur these costs. If the court rules in your favor, they can order the return of your property and may allow you to recover legal expenses, including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. CASH4U Pawn Shop is one of the worst businesses I have had to experience. As a Veteran, I should not have dealt with what I did. I just went there today to try and look at options to buy a firearm. I did have some people in the car with me, but I told them to stay in the car. I walked out after looking to make some calls to compare prices and options. The old lady followed me out, screaming and cussing at me claiming I was attempting to make a straw purchase. Now given the circumstance, I can understand if they wanted to refuse. I would have left without a complaint. However, I don't deal well with people accusing and yelling in my face. We got into an argument and I tried to explain that I served active duty for 6 years and currently serve in the reserves. I can't do anything to get in trouble with the law. She continued to treat me like a criminal and trespassed me from the property. My background is crystal clear, I have NEVER been in trouble with the law. CASH4U can bet there will be a lawsuit on their doorstep real soon.
