Jake was pleasant and helped us out with what we were looking for and surprised us with an additional item that we didn’t know it came with! It’ll make our son very happy for his birthday! Thank you Jake.

This place is great. They offered me about 25% more than I expected to haggle for what I sold. Then gave me 10% off their already competitive price on my purchase. This was the first time I’ve walked out of a pawn shop NOT feeling like I got ripped off. Incredible business model!

They sold me a Motorola razor phone which the screen failed the next day. Nothing was dropped on it, nothing in it when it closed. It just failed. Used phone, but $190. They refused to take care of it making excuses. Definitely won’t recommend them to anyone. Edit, to respond to the lies from the business. They claimed it had to have something dropped on the screen. No, not true. They sold a product that failed within 48 hours. When I took it back, they said “we warranty defects, this wasn’t a manufacturing defect” they claimed someone had dropped something on the screen. That’s a lie. A simple search on google shows many, MANY failures of this kind with these flexible screen phones. There was no spidering in the immediate area of the initial failure and fractures were single lines in the screen just as many images on Google shows. The business told me I was out $190 for a phone that they sold me and didn’t even last 48 hours. It wasn’t even used until that evening after I drove 3.5 hours home. The response from the business is a hot load of garbage. Further edit, yes, they are liars. And spiderwebbing from something being dropped on the phone would be similar to a tv screen being smashed with numerous small fractures, much like a windshield. However there were only single line fractures on the screen parallel to the folding point. This is typical with these screens failing. Thanks Great Plains for making my points further. Also they noted the screen was in the edge of the side of the phone, but notice how there was zero, ZERO damage to the bezel, not even scratches where if something were dropped on it, there would be. Great Plains, you should change your store name to great scams. Once again, the liars have come back. There's no need to post more photos, it's clear in that photo that nothing fell on the screen. I mean come on! OWN UP to your actions and decisions GREAT FRAUD. Nobody is going to fall for your garbage. You sold something, it failed and you're refusing to take care of it, now I'm out $190 and if I want to get it fixed, it's going to bee $350 to get a new screen. I already bought ANOTHER phone to replace this one, you could have solved all of this yesterday in a few minutes instead you keep coming back and acting like you did nothing wrong. Seriously people, their overpriced junk is not worth it. By the way, even the pictures of the screen on, listed show it didn’t have anything dropped on it. Great scams is a joke and their lies have been easily disproven. Unfortunately Google never notified me of their continued responses. I’ll happily send it to have a shop verify it wasn’t damaged by something being dropped on the screen. Poor scam pawn, you have my phone number yet you never reached out to me. And as far as the cost, I paid $190, if you want to give me $300 for the time I have had to waste responding to your lies, so be it. Following communication from Motorola states they cannot issue any statement for or against either position without physical inspection and have no way to do so even if it were sent in unless repairs were to be performed and paid for. 1/15/26 They apparently can’t see the added photos from communication directly with Motorola. They could also have checked with Motorola too. The proof is in the photos right there. They added another insult but it seems they still aren’t willing to accept that what they sold failed for well known reasons right away. They just don’t want to accept their own terms now and will probably write another insult showing how bad their customer service can really be. Hey, great scams… you do realize that insults just show you know you in a bad light, right? Proof provided by more photos added and sent to their Facebook, which they saw and ignored. They don’t even honor what they say here and proved how rude they are. No honor, definitely not trust worthy. BBB complaint filed and maybe a small claims case for false advertising. They even made a promise here and didn’t honor it. I guess great scams should be their name.

Jake was so amazing! He was passionate about all that he showed us, and he didn’t rush us at all. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town! He was also able to get us reasonable prices on what he could!

I walked in to this place and the staff Jake greeted me and I made it passed the firearms without much gravity.. and walked over to the gutiars and noticed a few I was feeling drawn to, so I walked back to the counter and asked for some assistance to reach the top shelf. The staff were really friendly and were happy to help me out. Jake showed me a couple I mentioned and then seemed to be straight with me about issues with one. I noticed the nut on the Fender CD-140 SCE has a been chipped out on the bass E.. We came to a price and he was actually a cool guy to visit with. When I got it home, I cleaned and treated the fretboard. the string action height was 1/64th low and I actually had a bone saddle that was .030 taller and a bone nut that was .005 taller and both the nut action and string action are perfect. I always thought fender acoustics were kind of junk til I found a custom art painted california I got for my sister that played and sounded really nice. just a little care and I got this one dialed in 100%.. its in a case getting hydrated.. its actually a great sounding acoustic and electric guitar. a spruce top with rosewood back and sides. its perfect playing size. I was surprised my saddle and nut were perfect fit..lol 6 things.. tightened the tuner nuts.. were way loose.. replaced the battery.. replaced the saddle... treated the fretboard, replaced the nut.. fitted a set of strings. Thanks Jake. another pawned guitar rescue completed.

THE Best pawn shop in sioux falls. Ive bought 2tb series x. 49 inch gaming monitors, 4k monitors, gaming pc, ps2, 3dsxl, and other random games and items. Ive never left with buyers remorse or felt like i had paid a bit too much. Everything is priced very well. The staff is top notch, willing to help and glad to let you take time and let you test items out.. ive said sorry it taking to long and all i head is id rather you take your time and not get home and realise its not what you wanted.. from a pawn shop that unheard of. Its normally hurry up and once its out its yours no matter what. Honestly probably why they are doing so well. So if your looking for great priced ,ps5, xbox, pc/ laptops, games, movies, tools..ect this is the place to go hands down.. worst thing that might happen is you leave with some great things. Oh. And they offer layaway and 10 day guarantee also you can look at items online with correct inventory no seeing an item coming in and not being there.
