Brought in a cheap little pistol and I got the money that I needed for it. Service was prompt and I got the cash quick. I take off one star because the professionalism was lackluster. Guy that was selling it to me was much more interested in talking to his buddies behind the counter rather than engaging with the customer.

I had a mixed experience here today. I came in to sell three items: an Invicta watch, a 600w Alpine amplifier and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's. I was only able to sell the least valuable item, which was the amplifier. But hey, that's less clutter off my hands and a quick $20 in wallet, so there was a semblance of positivity there. My reason for the two star review mostly falls on the customer service aspect of my visit, along with a low-ball offer on the headset listed above. The watch wasn't able to be sold due to them not accepting that brand at the moment, along with some defects, which I am willing to concede on. The lady examining my watch was very respectful though! Even with the bad news, I was happy in my experience with her. [Pro-tip: If you're looking to sell an Invicta or similarly branded watch, call and ask if they're accepting them first.] The headset is where the problems arose. I was only offered $35 by the guy processing it. I understand that the model of the business is to make a profit, but I find that to be a low-ball offer. $60 was a reasonable ask for the headset as they were in pristine condition and had the box + sleeve to go with it. I would've even taken $50 had the respect been there. Challenging the offer only led to snide remarks and an attitude that followed. I am not in the market for ANY of that, so I pulled the headset. [For reference, this same headset in worse condition minus the box + sleeve hovers around $100+-. Ones of the same condition like I brought in today ask for $120-140]. If that guy I dealt with can give me the website used to reference that low-ball price in comparison to prices in reality, I'll be MORE than happy to use it because I'm always looking for deals on music equipment. In a way though, I do thank that guy for the subpar experience! I posted the headset on Marketplace for $90 and found a buyer within 3 hours. We both had a good laugh about the low-ball offer that was made here. I also thank you for giving me the nail in the coffin about why it's not a great idea to go to pawn shops to sell items of value. I'll simply stick to Marketplace, even if it means being patient. 🙂
