The older gentleman running the shop was incredibly nice and easy to work with. I came in for bulk pre-1982 wheat pennies and was in and out quickly. He answered all my questions pertaining to other coins I intend to aquire in the near future. Definitely a local coin shop I'd recommend to anyone that collects coins or stacks metals, and one I will be frequenting in the future. Thanks again!!!

I did some research on local coin shops in the area and I decided to come here due to numerous recommendations from word of mouth asking around. I came here for the first time and it was close to closing time which I didn't check before stopping by my fault lol. John Was very nice I explained to him my goals on investing in gold and silver and he took the time to talk about everything I asked and didn't rush me out the door due to closing time. I bought a nice gold piece at a very good price ! I will definitely be back to buy more gold and silver because of his prices , honesty and patience helping me decide what to get. Can't wait to come back and become a regular here! Thanks John for your patience and helping me out. I'll make sure to come before closing time next time lol.

Had the pleasure of meeting John and his wife in the store today. They both are wonderful people. I felt I was dealt with very fairly in our transaction. I left feeling like a friend. His wife offered me something to drink and cookies while I was waiting. I would highly recommend if you have gold/silver to sell or are looking to buy. Good, honest people!

What an experience we had in selling 50+ years of coin collecting to Augusta Coin Exchange. Professional, honest and downright pleasant 2 1/2 hours of watching John go through all the coins and other items and giving us what we felt was the best price. And later when he discovered coins more valuable than he originally thought, he sent us a note with an additional check. Certainly more than you would expect from anyone. Thank you!!

John and Amy run a very classy establishment with an extensive selection and excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable as are exchange rates - I’m new to Augusta and have been looking for a legitimate coin dealer. I have found it!

Called about jewelry scrap pricing and I was asking about ball park figure on what percentage you would pay for 14k not ball park on what you would pay for all of it but you sad on no can’t do that over the phone you interpreted me before I could say the rest. To get a better star review don’t interrupt folks. John. Not sure what makes you so special that you can’t give a percentage over the phone when your biggest competitor can! Klein has better prices anyways. Godbless

Have been buying silver here for a couple of years. John and Amy are extremely fair and ethical. They are warm and engaging. I have been here enough times to know they treat all customers this way. John has tremendous experience buying coins and bills. He is very reasonable and professional!! His generosity was illustrated by his free donation of ten grab bags to the workers at the Children’s Hospital radiothon last December 4th. Highly recommend this shop!! Have even been offered coffee, water, & cookies during visits here!
