Very fare! Joe was very polite. Came in with silver and told him what I would like to receive and got more of than expected. Everything was handled professional and quickly. Should I need to make another transaction I will go back to Clemson Gold & Bullion.

Usually, when I look at reviews….. I tend to filter out the lowest and the highest and look only at the 3 to 4 stars to see how just any ol person would be treated, or the quality of the establishment. This time, I would say to go with the other 1 star reviews I have seen here. The establishment is clean, and calm. Was at ease as soon as I walked in. I have lived all over the USA, been to several different countries.. would I say I am world wise, perhaps world weary? I just wanted to see if any of the coins I had were of value or were basically just worth their weight. I was not shopping around, I just honestly wanted to know if there was something worth any value so I could make sure it was put up for safe keeping. Once the coins were separated and totaled I was given a price and looked at expectantly. I replied that I needed to talk it over with my wife and see if she felt it was fair and that I would likely be back. That is when the mood changed. I was told very rudely to not come back if I left. If, as a business in this field, you do not want to do valuations that do not end in an immediate exchange of goods, post a sign. Inform people as they enter that you do not provide the service, or if you do, try charging a nominal fee of like $5. That will discourage most of the people who are not serious about a quick transactions. After seeing the other 1 star review and the follow up response from the owner, I felt it necessary to also post a review. I also tried to make sure I had spelled everything correctly, to alleviate any attempts by the owners to discredit my post by attacking me as I saw they had done previously. There are some interesting coins in the shop. I didn’t have time to really look around or check prices. If you are buying, you might stop in. There are plenty of online resources you can use to ensure you are getting a fair price…. So I don’t really need to comment on the prices offered.

I drove over an hour to visit this coin shop, and it was absolutely worth it. Joe, the owner, was honest, knowledgeable, and gave very fair prices. After checking buy prices all over South Carolina, his shop had the best rates I could find for both silver and gold. There was no pressure at all, and the entire experience was straightforward and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Only one word comes to mind when describing this business and our interaction, OUTSTANDING. We knew what we had and a fairly good idea what our items were worth. We met Joe as we walked in and he looked over our valuables. Joe is quite personable and we shared many laughs together. We went back and forth a bit and Joe came up with a price that nearly floored us. It was slightly more than 20% higher than the highest offer we received by going to several other shops in Greenville and Easley. That ended up being a few thousand dollars difference. We took Joe's offer and they paid promptly. It was a complete pleasure dealing with Joe and his wife Tracy. We left with a great feeling of being treated very fairly and as valued customers. You would do well by selling your valuables to Clemson Coins and you can do so with complete confidence. They certainly do pay the most. We'll be back as we have so much more to sell. So, I stopped in to get a appraisal on a Gold necklace. Joe took the time to evaluate it and gave me a extraordinary price. He was very professional, Intelligent about products in his store. The Man just has " Common sense and Honesty " about him. Very easy to pick up. I negotiated a little with him and did not feel pressured or intimated by his knowledge of my necklace. After sending an email, regarding the sale of some personal coins, I was advised to come by the store. For those that seem upset about not getting 'ballpark' offers on the phone, let's be real . If you're not a professional, you can't possibly know what the owner is looking for. To spend hours on the phone, going over dates, condition, etc. Just stop in. The owner is very straight forward. He doesn't want to waste his time or yours. His offer was fair and quick. If you are trying to sell, then realize this is a business, for profit. It may not be top price, in your expectation, but it is top in resale. I will be returning for future endeavors. Thank you, Sir. I appreciate your time and fairness.
