I received a gift for a collectible that I do not collect. I brought the item to the Providence Place store with a receipt. The product was in the original package with no damage to the package or product. The product was bought over Black Friday weekend. The sales associate said I could not exchange it as their policy only allows for returns 7 days after purchase even for Christmas gifts bought well ahead of the holiday. The company should advertise that when they have their holiday marketing so that people know that anything bought on Black Friday weekend and given as a Christmas gift cannot be returned for any reason. The store is nice and I've gone there many times, most of the people working are quite nice except for two employees who seemed like they weren't properly trained... They didn't know how the SVIP 10% discount worked and were pretty rude when I tried to explain to them how the discount worked and showed them the rewards website where it explained it, rude to the point where I even started to doubt myself. I've been to other miniso locations and to this same location before and used my discount easily and have asked others, so I don't know why these employees were so confused what the SVIP discount was? I was with friends as well so it was embarrassing as well 😢. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I didn't push too hard but the disrespect was enough for me to want to avoid the place when I see those two working...
