I called many other places and Berger had the best scrap prices by far. Very friendly people—highly recommended.
Brought some aluminum received a fair price and I was in an out in minutes. Very nice staff from the employee who unloaded me to the friendly woman in the office. There are recycling places closer to me but Berger is definitely worth the ride.
Had a good first experience bringing a truckbed of copper. Second experience I went alone without my father and I received $2.60 for #1 copper pipe and $2.50 for #2 copper. When I called ahead and they told me prices were $3.50 and $3.40. They did get my brass and romex correct. I didn't check my receipt until I got home so my loss. Unsure if it was a mistype or they thought I wouldn't notice but you got me. Won't be taking the extra drive for Berger's anymore.
Berger recycling has a great location right off route 95...very easy access. Service is fantastic and the prices are well worth the trip. Buying or selling, it is always a pleasure. It's a Rhode Island gem!
Been going to Berger for 23 years. Friendly staff, they make scrapping a very easy process, and most importantly theyre honest and straightforward in their prices. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
