After hearing of this place by word of mouth, I did a quick Google search and realized this may be the best option. Now I live in Dauphin County so it's not local to me, but I gave it a try. I am so so glad I did. Its business owned by a family but they made me feel very welcome coming through the door. Very knowledgeable and thorough and I learned some of their family history today. I took my gold and silver scrap to The Goldfather and learned so much. Karen was friendly and willing to show me things that I never knew about gold markings and measurements and how values are calculated. It was a great experience.
