I am a frequent Pawn plus shopper and I had a really great experience with one of the employees named Christen. She greeted me at the door and was nothing but pleasant. She really made my experience overall.

Christen was very polite and helpful she was really knowledgeable and helped my mother in law and father in law pic out the perfect engagement rings and wedding bands. She didnt make us feel like just another sale she made us feel like we were family...i highly recommended seeing her to anyone looking to make purchases. Thank you again Christen, God Bless

Just found a whole bunch of my stuff in there. That was stolen from me over a year ago. When I talked to the owner and showed him pictures, he brushed off like it was nothing. I will never shop there and I totally don't ask that. No one else does either they're are unethical and thieves

Im curious.. it's funny how ALL comments are mostly about "Christen". Is she that awesome?? "I hope so" or is she asking/requesting them to post awesome reviews n include her name... 🤔 I get that quite often from other businesses. I guess there is only one way to find out right? 😉 I'm going in to see how awesome she really is. 😎 😃 hopefully she can be as good n helpful to me too. 🤑

I was pleasantly surprised when I went into the Penn St location of Pawn Plus. I hadn’t been here in about 10 years. I was lucky to have a friend ask me to take her here the other day. There are several nice tools that were mostly all reasonably priced. The price on the white sticker is then marked down if there’s a discount tag on it. I took pictures and returned with my husband and had the pleasure of meeting Ray. He was the nicest and most helpful employee that I had ever dealt with there in all of the years that I had shopped there, years ago. Ray helped us out and gave us information about our purchase. He acted with complete subtly when my card had been declined due to my forgetting to transfer money to the account that my card is on. Due to the situation, I wasn’t embarrassed, but should it have not been my forgetfulness that caused the declination, I would have definitely appreciated him being discreet. In addition to hiring such a helpful employee, the store was very clean and no longer deafeningly loud. This is the perfect place to come to buy used tools. You have 48 hrs to return them if they don’t work so try them out ASAP. Since everyone seems to be commenting on other reviews, I decided to vent a bit of frustration on 2 of the 3, that I read. Reviewer Tio, Pawn Plus DOES require ID for the 1st time that a customer brings an item in, as it seems that you already know. The clerk probably recognized the woman asking if her ID was needed for another transaction in which she’s bringing items to the store. To any reviewer that’s posting about seeing their own items there at the store, staff can’t do anything. You MUST contact the police and make a statement. Bring proof of that exact item being yours. Then, the police will contact Pawn Plus and get the information on the seller. Seller information is private and protected, as it should be. They have no idea if you’re telling the truth or not and won’t put people’s lives in danger. I have no connection to this store, other than being a customer returning after 10 years. This is all common sense. And, by all means, watch who you let in your homes!
