I had some old jewelry I wanted to sell, and after reading the other reviews, went to Simpson's. They are top notch professionals, and gave me a very good deal. The staff is friendly, and I would definitely recommend them.
A pleasure to do business with, gave me top dollar and was very honest. Didn't buy everything I was looking to sell and explained why, where the other places I had gone quoted me (much less) on the whole lot. There is no reason to go anywhere else if you are looking to sell your jewelry.
I'd never sold gold or jewelry before and visited a few shops before this one. In all of them I pretended not to know the value of my product (which is easy to calculate if you know the KT and the weight of what you're selling. Also there are online calculators). This was the only place that offered at least 80% of its value which is AMAZING for street selling. All the other shops before this one offered me only half of what he offered. 100% recommend it. G
People were nice enough. I walked in with a diamond bridal set. The gentleman looked at the item and told me that it was only worth $40 and if I was expecting any more than that I should "forget about it". I politely, gathered my items, thanked him for his time, and left. What I did not share with the man is that I had shopped the ring around and at every other establishment, was quoted a sell price between $150 and $200. Despite what the other reviews say, the people in this place, while polite, WILL try to low ball you.
