I was surprised at how these people switched up on me. There was a death in my family and i was not in town when my loan ran out of time. They still had my property but now they almost tripled the price that it would cost me to get it back. It sucks but oh well. Life goes on. I was just really surprised how the friendly people became unfriendly.

Usually a good selection of guitars and there Arms inventory is exceptional. They don't really entertain haggling which is half the fun but oh well...

I went in browsing firearms. The man at the counter was exceptionally knowledgeable, easy to talk to and they had a great selection. I am definitely coming back to buy some quality pieces.

I have visited Southern Oregon Pawn and Jewelry several times and have made many purchases from them. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. My husband just bought me a diamond ring last night and I didn't feel rushed while looking through their huge selection of jewelry. I also love the huge selection of other things they have as well. They have electronics, cars, bicycles, firearms and much more! I have sold things to Southern Oregon Pawn and they are fair and always explain my options for a loan or purchase. I highly recommend this shop.

Southern Oregon pawn is a pretty good place to shop and do business. On our visit there, I noticed they had a fairly extensive selection of jewelry, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. And a pretty good selection of firearms, and musical instruments also. The staff seem fairly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit to check them out!

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The managers and staff showed little regard for customers and came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I’m a former music store manager myself, so I understand how these situations should be handled. I was interested in purchasing a guitar, but I quickly noticed that it had a bowed neck, making it nonfunctional. Sometimes this can be corrected with an adjustment, but in this case, it looked severe enough to make repair costs higher than the instrument’s value. I asked to speak with a manager to discuss possible solutions, but it took quite a while before she came over, even though she didn’t seem busy. When she finally arrived, she barely listened and seemed uninterested in what I was saying. I explained that I wanted to check the adjustment point to see if the guitar could be made playable — I even offered to pay for any damages or to purchase it first and inspect it in-store. Instead of having a reasonable conversation, another employee named Brandon — who wasn’t part of the discussion — interrupted abruptly, took the guitar, and said, “We’re not doing whatever you’re talking about.” The entire interaction came across as rude and unprofessional. If they had simply listened and politely explained store policy, it would have been fine. Most reputable stores will either allow a customer to test an instrument or offer a short-term return window. Here, however, they insisted that if I bought the guitar and it turned out to be defective, I’d be stuck with it — even though they hadn’t tested it properly before putting it on sale for over $700. To me, that’s unacceptable business practice. It feels like they’re pushing broken inventory onto customers instead of ensuring products are functional. I walked out without buying anything and have no plans to return. If you buy here you could be sold broken junk advertised and priced as working because the employees failed in their job and then have it deceptively pushed onto you with no return or discussion. That’s unethical. You also could be subjected to their rude, unprofessional and disrespectful staff.
