We are in our 70's and totally ignorant of how to sell old gold jewelry and we had heard the horror stories. We were a tad nervous about the process. Per their website's request we made an appointment with a very nice man named Jeff who helped ease some of our fears. When we got there, we were immediately greeted with a smile and welcomed. Because we had an appointment, there was no waiting. Everything, and I mean everything, was upfront. The procedure was explained, prices were posted, we could see the scales. Anything rejected was explained why. There was no pressure to sell after the offer was made. We did sell to them and left feeling wonderful and well informed. It was a great experience. We would recommend them to anyone.

With their 4.5 star rating, I went in with positive expectations, believing that they would be courteous and fair with their appraisals of my 24k gold pieces. I had both my certificate of authenticity and proof of purchase. Unfortunately, I was met with rudeness by both the lady using an outdated gold tester kit (which was proven to be inaccurate when she tested my pendant with a second jewelry test kit) and Dennis, the owner. Before being asked to leave, they demanded to look at my ID saying it was mandatory for each customer which I’ve never heard of. This is the type of poor customer service that sways customers both old and new from returning. Do better.
