I would give 0 stars if that option was available. I brought a ring in just to see if they had any interest in buying it before pursuing other options. The ring had been examined by a jeweler at a major jewelry store, had just been appraised at Fred Meyer, and had also been examined by a coin/jewelry seller - all had assured me of it’s high quality and had recommended a price to start with when selling it. This guy at Rogue Valley gave it a look and immediately started trashing it and telling me that I would be lucky to get even a tiny fraction of what everyone else had told us.He said he was just “being realistic” and “honest”….I thanked him for his opinion and left - typical crooked pawn shop vibes. I would never recommend anyone to go there unless you want to be ripped off.

Don't sell to these guys total rip off. They wanted to pay me 40% below spot price for some silver dollars. And they proceeded to tell me a Morgan silver dollar I had in mint condition was a counterfeit then they said it was cleaned then they said it was worth maybe a hundred bucks. A later sold the coin for $600 to another person who said they were going to have it graded he contacted me after having it graded The coins worth over $1,500. Never will I do business there again

I was in the shop today 07JAN26. To buy gold and silver. Very busy on the metal side of their business. They had 5 clerks working. Very professional,listened and responded to all my questions. Did not rush me even with all the other people in the store. If you are buying or selling metal in the rogue valley don't waste any time wondering where to go. Go to "Rogue Valley Coin" they are GREAT people!!

Been dealing with Rogue Valley Coin and Jewelry off & on since the late 1980's. They have always been fair-priced, explain everything thoroughly, and they are transparent of what they can or cannot do. Nice, friendly family, and I continue doing business there to this day. There's other places in town that are just fine, but RV Coin & Jewelry will always get my business first!
