I love this place, very professional and has chairs to sit while he takes care of other customers. Juan is knowledgeable and helpful, you won’t feel uncomfortable like some shady places in town., call around and I’ll bet he will pay more for all your precious metals. Plenty spaces for parking, it’s a huge plus for me.

First time I have visited this exchange. They opened up in May so they are a relatively new option in the Portland area. Just so happens they are one of the closest options for me too. Their reviews so far looked promising, so I decided to give them a shot. Brought in a large assortment of gold and silver in various forms. Upon entering, it is a nice office, clean and tidy. I was greeted and helped immediately. Very friendly staff, these people are genuine in their interest and conversation. I was helped by Juan and he is really a good guy. Very VERY fair in his assessments and in his pricing. He took the time to go over each individual coin I brought in and to check whether it had plus value above the price of the metals. He was very easy to talk to and as he went through things he informed me of what he was doing with each piece and even how and where he was separating the priced out stuff, from the not yet checked stuff. Very transparent with every aspect. Then he let me know my total and proceeded to go down his list and inform me of the price he would pay for every item I had brought in. He then asked if there were any prices or item I had questions on or was wanting to try and bargain for any higher prices on. There was only one and after discussing it he did offer me a little more which I was grateful for and happy to accept. Upon agreement for lot, he promptly had me paid and on my way. Probably the best experience I have ever had selling gold and silver. I felt very good walking away, with both the amount I was paid and the service I received. I will certainly be back in the future for any sales I wish to do. I will also go to Juan the next time I wish to purchase any bullion of any kind. I can only imagine he will be just as fair to his buyers as he is to his sellers. Please give this great new business a chance and I am confident you will leave with a smile just as I did. No matter where you are coming from…. They are worth the drive folks. Nice office, good people, great prices! I had a wonderful experience at JRC Gold Exchange. Juan Forno was incredibly helpful and patient with me. I brought in a bunch of small watch pieces, hoping some might be gold. Even though most of them turned out not to be, Juan carefully tested each and every piece without hesitation. He stayed friendly, kept a smile the whole time, and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Thankfully, I did have a few good pieces to sell, and they paid very well for those. I truly appreciated the fairness and transparency throughout the process. It’s also a huge plus that they’re open until 6 PM — very convenient! I highly recommend JRC Gold Exchange if you’re looking for honest service, fair payouts, and kind people.
