Made the trip from NYC to check out Ashbrook while on vacation in Canada. Probably my favorite part of Ottawa! Casey, a proper gentleman, took care of me exceptionally and treated me as if I had been coming in every week for years. Their selection of banknotes is top tier, and there are price ranges for every level of collector! He managed to handle phone calls, an abundance of customers in store, all while still making everyone feel welcome, not rushed, and more than happy to take any questions. The Canadian numismatic community needs to treasure him and his shop, as I would more than happily bring him down here to run a store! Definitely will not be my last time visiting, thank you again!!!

Casey very abrupt & rude - not particularly friendly & did not have alot of time for his customers. Although very knowledgeable would not be going back. Also the store does not update their hours .....You go on the website to check opening hours... you get there & place is closed. Not Good

Unfortunately the reviews were not true again. We took our time to separate all our coins we even brought coins that were older than 1968 1955 but the man didn't take the time to look at it just basically rushed us out the store cuz it wasn't I guess going to bring them enough money very disappointed SMH. But the lady she was nice she greeted as nice but the guy that was serving as Andy he's dishonest. Dishonest to the point where he even tried to tell us how to rip off the banks by rolling up the change and handing it in because it was a mix set of currency what has Ottawa succumbed to? SMH

Love this store. Donna is amazing and always doing great deals On either the buyer and the seller side. And the new team members are fantastic. Store is crisp !!!!

Very pleased with the service I received today. The team was friendly, honest, and never pushy. They took the time to look at several items with me and offered clear, helpful advice throughout the process.
