I had a very disappointing experience. What took place was unexpected and handled in a completely unprofessional manner. There was no accountability or effort to make things right afterward, which added to the stress of the situation. This was not the level of service I expected, and I would not recommend based on my experience. NEVER AGAIN

I love that place!❤️I come to BA once a year since 2011 and always stop by. Every single time I find it to be very clean and organized. The people that are working in Uptown Resale are very nice and helpful. I always find treasures and leave the place happy. Thank you Uptown Resale Team.
I have chosen to boycott this establishment due to the staff's rude and unfriendly demeanor, which I believe to be discriminatory. I strongly advise Black customers to avoid shopping here and instead supports businesses that value and respect our community. Additionally, their prices are unreasonably high for a consignment store. We must prioritize our economic power and withhold support from businesses that fail to recognize our worth. Has anyone else noticed the lack of black employees? This oversight is quite concerning. The owner is extremely RUDE, and the way she speaks to customers is unacceptable. You're better off going to Gabe's, Marshall's, or similar stores where you can get brand- new clothes, without the attitude. Stop spending at overpriced resale stores. Take back your dollar-when their business suffers, they'll be forced to change how they treat people.
My daughter and I went here years ago and loved the place, staff and merchandise; however, we went back recently and we were treated with rudeness and borderline hostility simply for asking about a brand and it turns it out it was an imposter bag(anyone who knows the brand should know the tell tale signs of a fake and think the slack jaw dame behind the counter was just upset bc she was told and she was embarrassed. Not going back and they pay low and act like they are in New York not Oklahoma.
My favorite resell place! Bailey is beyond kind and friendly every single time I’ve been in! I recommend Uptown for anyone wanting to buy or sell in the area.
This place is a nightmare. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Used jeans were $20-$30. Used Halloween costumes were the same price you could buy it brand new. Nasty used Halloween wigs with ratted hair, that smelled bad. They have it so packed with overpriced merchandise, you can barely move. It’s a disgusting place with the rudest people. I had brought in few things for consignment, as I had an account there, so I looked around while they looked through my things, which had sold before quickly. When I was done looking and went back to see what they had selected to sell…the young girl had only picked couple of items and when I asked why..she said “because your items was dirty and stained” lol. There was nothing in the container dirty or stained…one pair of converse had been worn once. Banana Republic pants worn once. Lands end vest worn once. My son’s flannel pants, hardly worn out. Not one thing was dirty or stained…it’s one thing to just not want my things to resale, it’s quite another to lie to my face, in front of everyone and claim my things was dirty and stained. I will never set foot in this establishment again.
