I went to El Reno Coin on October 3rd 2023 at 10:20am. The website says they are supposed to be open from 10am to 4pm today. The hours are posted on the door as well. The owners car is parked outside but the closed sign is still up. There is no lights on and no explanation posted on why they are not open when he should be. I will find another business who is more professional to sell my coins to.
I have tried to stop in there 4 times on the way home from work and it’s always closed with a piece of paper giving a different excuse why. I’ve tried to call 2 or 3 times and never gotten anyone.
When it comes down to it, as an American, i want shops and storefronts to appreciate their own worth. this shop is THE perfect spot in El Reno for a casual yet informative coin collection/sale experience. The owner is respectable, even when i had not come in with the intention of purchasing, he was still extremely polite. i could not ask for a more hospitable environment. thank you very much!
