Offered $450 for a 10oz silver bar that should’ve been over spot. They didn’t even offer what it’s worth. The reason is, they said they have too much silver. They’re fast to sell items over spot and say it’ll hold its spot value. But then offer nothing in return.

I've brought entire jars of coins here- old wheat pennies one of my relatives left us, and even when they couldn't take anything off my hands at the time, the owner and staff were up front and honest about the how's and why's, and even gave me suggestions of where else to go and who to talk to. I have other family members who had great experiences with this store. I trust their expertise and professionalism. I will keep doing business with them whenever I'm able.

If you don't have contacts in the precious metals and coin collecting communities and need advice or want to sell, (or buy) this is your place! My wife and I popped in on a Saturday morning without an appointment looking to have our modest silver coin collection appraised and see if we could sell some unused gold jewelry. Not being a proper coin collector, just knowing silver and gold are at all time highs, it seemed like a good time to look into having things evaluated. Phillip immediately greeted us as we walked through the door and asked how he could help. We told him why we were there and he lit up. He said he loves digging through "unknown" collections. We spilled the coins out on the counter and Phillip dug right in sorting them by denomination and silver content based on coin dates. He made a pile of coins that don't have an appreciable amount of silver in them and said "This is your "spend now pile". Then he looked at each coin individually to make sure there weren't any rare or exceedingly valuable coins. He evaluated the gold pieces we brought in asked us if we'd like them to remove the small stones in the gold for us to keep. He weighed everything and made us a no pressure offer on the spot. We were free to leave after taking up an hour of their time if we choose to. All this was done while helping the owner and another employee manage the Saturday crowd. There was a very small amount of negotiation between us and an agreement was made. They wrote us a check and as we were turning to leave, the owner stopped us and said, "wait, you want these diamonds from the gold don't you?" We'd completely forgotten about them, but they did not. That shows an amazing amount of integrity. He popped the diamonds out, put them in a baggie and chatted for a few minutes thanking us for our business and patience. The service I received was excellent. Phillip made the whole process enjoyable. I really do feel like the price paid for our collection was fair. Both parties left satisfied. Five Easy Stars!
