Read the good positive/ highest reviews. Morris employees/ Can’t take brand new items without a receipt for obvious reasons.Honest People. If they can’t help you, They’ll try to send you somewhere that can. Morris Loan is The oldest running Pawnshop in Ohio. And has been a pawn shop since 1932. They truly care about their customers as you can see for yourself when reading the highest reviews

I have been looking for an older model guitar such as I bought there 30 years ago (and still have). There is only one walkway available so if you want to see something you have to ask, and if they can hear you, the older lady will bring it to you. (Note: had I have been able to see the very bad condition of the guitar, I wouldn’t have even asked to see it.) The guitar had many scratches and the paint was chipped. It looked as if the fretboard had been sanded down. Within seconds I figured that the price would reflect the condition of the guitar. I then looked at the price $499!!! I was stunned, and immediately let out a brief laugh because the price really shocked me! Seriously, lol. Bad move, little older lady starts yelling at me about a similar guitar being on Reverb for that price! I asked if the guitar was in that condition for that price, then she started yelling at me for being rude for “laughing in her face”, which I didn’t do. You have to be facing someone to laugh in their face, but I was not, she was off to my right side where she handed me the guitar from. My reaction was not intended to be rude at all, and I even apologized to her explaining that I had not intended on being rude. The lady kept yelling at me about being rude even after I had apologized, and she was trying to get the two guys working there to side with her that I was being rude, however they refused to take sides, lol! Wow is all I can say. I will not make the mistake going there to look at anything again.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at this pawn shop. When we walked in, the two owners looked at each other and did not greet us at all. Instead of a welcoming atmosphere, we were met with snarling looks and immediately asked what we needed in a cold, uninviting tone. I explained that it was our first time there and that we were just browsing, but the energy never improved. The lack of friendliness and professionalism made me feel uneasy and unwelcome. As a customer, I expect at least basic courtesy, and unfortunately that was not the case here. I won’t be returning. EDIT to respond to their reply , I have no reason to lie on this old ran down pawn shop. Read the other reviews

Went to Morris Pawn Shop to look at guitars and amps. The team they were very helpful and gave us great advice. They let my son play and test out a guitar and amp and we ended up buying the amp at a great price. It's so nice to know there are still shop owners that truly understand what is is to give great customer service.

After shopping through several pawn shops, I stopped in to get an estimate on my wedding rings. This was hands down the best experience. Aaron was so easy to work and gave me the best price by far for my jewelry. Everyone working in the building was so kind and they had some really cool stuff for sale. I will definitely be back.
