This is a small family owned business with great knowledge, investment options unmaterials such as gold,silver,coins and such. They also but such items at fair market prices and are honest. My only source I'd ever recommend to anyone.
My first experience buying gold and silver was not good. It was a California outfit that vastly overcharged me. They are now out of business with multiple lawsuits against them. I was embarrassed because I'm usually careful about doing my due diligence. I do all my business at Main Street Coin in Fairfield now. I trust the owner Joe explicitly. He verified the gold and silver from the other outfit was real, I of course was relieved. He's very knowledgeable and has treated me with respect.......Thank you Joe
Great customer experience here! I went in on the 23rd of January when silver prices were jumping up leaps and bounds. I bought some 1oz. silver eagles. When I got home I recounted them and found I was short two silver eagles so I called immediately and they answered in spite of being closed they answered and told me they would make it right! The next day I went in taking my receipt to show they and they resolved the issues with next to no question! I definitely recommend doing business here!
Great experience all around. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy, and the selection was excellent. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and about their customers. There’s a reason this shop is so highly rated, and it definitely lives up to the reputation. I’ll absolutely be back.
Been knowing about this place for YEARS. The owner, the Dad was always very knowledgeable, nice and welcoming. A few days ago I came in with some items and was serviced by the son. Great experience. No complaints. Today I came in with more items and requested “testing” on the items. Complete different energy. The son very rudely stated that he would absolutely not test the items if HE didn’t feel the need. Then followed up by explaining that he doesn’t waste time testing certain things because HE has to pay to get the machine tuned or whatever. FAIR! But the WAY he said it initially turned me off. Never what you say, but HOW! Anyways, despite being completely turned off, I sold the two items that he said were real. The rest, he said was costume and again, never tested. Went to another dealer who DID test the items and one came back as real. I say all that to say, if something doesn’t feel right, just go with your gut. Had I not gotten another opinion , I would’ve missed out on an extra $350 bucks because someone was having a rough morning. This review is not to bash the business, but to raise awareness of customer service and don’t settle for the “it’s not real”. Get another opinion.
