Staple in this community. If you think about it and I have. They helped me to keep my utilities on.fix my car. And I am great full. Bet you can think of a time they bailed you out? Maybe next time you have a few extre bucks and a need for just about anything from tools to jewelry and tvs game systems and stuff. And I do. Ask for a deal they are familiar with too much month at the end of the money. Iwould definitely suggest them to my family and friends.

It was my first time here and I had to sell a few things. I was very impressed by the offer, it was definitely fair. The store is super clean. Everyone was friendly and Tommy was great and got me in and out of there within 10 min. Great family owner business.

I’m highly convinced that any rating over 2 stars is fake or paid for. These people are A1 scammers who prey on victims of circumstance. Many, many years ago when Larry Sr. ran the place it was respectable. My mother used to have good relationship with them, a lot of the times I would be with her. They had integrity and understanding. Now it’s nothing but greed and arrogance. It’s downright disgusting and infuriating what they do to people and disguise it as “business”. I have a 26g 14k gold rope chain that belonged to my mother before she passed in 2017. It is one of 3 items I have of hers, and the one thing I swore I would never risk losing. After she passed I had it professionally appraised for insurance purposes. They estimated the scrap value alone to be $1,750. A few months ago I was going through a tough season, as we all do at some point. I quickly realized the only thing I possessed of any significant value was my gold chain, but I would never even think of selling it. It was at this point that I remembered Larry’s and the way they always treated my mother. And I only needed $600. So I swallowed my pride, grabbed my chain and the insurance paperwork and drove to Larry’s. I walked in for the first time in probably 25 years. The only difference was the modern items on the sale floor. Even smelled the same. I was greeted by scowls from the employees with the looks of someone who either hates their life, hates their job, or both. I of course asked about Larry and was that told he retired and doesn’t come around much. That Larry Jr. is now in charge but he isn’t around much either. Reluctantly I explained my dilemma and produced my gold chain along with the appraisal paperwork. This wiry arrogant fella literally laughs at my paperwork, throws my chain on a scale and without even making eye contact with me says, “I do ya $400 on a loan, not a dollar more”. I politely try to negotiate, explaining the value of the chain and that all I was looking to get was $600, and would be back to pick it up in a month. His response, “you’ve got about 1 minute to make your mind up buddy because we close in 20 minutes”. Everything in me told me to walk away, but I was in a desperate situation, and he knew it. I reluctantly accepted the offer. I walked out of there furious and regretful.. Fast forward 6 weeks later I come back in for my chain. But Instead of cash I offer some brand new tools that I acquired from a pallet purchase. Unopened top of the line equipment. 5 items with a retail price of over $980. Take into account holiday sale prices, brings them down to $790. I simply explain that they have a chain of mine that has significant sentimental value. That I would be willing to trade these 5 items for the $400 they loaned me on the chain. An offer back in my mother’s time Larry would have done in a heartbeat and offered her a fair amount of any difference. You wanna know what these scammers gave me for $1,000 worth of brand new, unopened items? $235. Two hundred and thirty five dollars. Then printed out a paper and wrote that I still owe them $255 if I want my chain back. Needless to say I don’t believe those items hit the store shelves. These people prey on the weak and take full advantage of good people’s hard times. It’s more or less legal extortion. These are unprincipled men with one thing on their minds. Don’t fall for the scam.

Every time I call and ask if they want to buy a tool no matter the brand told me they don’t mess with the makita brand when I’ve personally saw that brand of tools in there store.

First time walking in there today & left with a new (new to me) bridal set. My old ring was way to big on me after losing over 100lbs , and my ring has already been resized before so it they wouldn’t have been able to resize it again. My wife and I came in just to look but I felled in love with a set. The employees were very nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back. Amazing place with cool things.
