Howard’s is a amazing coin shop. I’ve shopped here a bunch and they give fair prices and will check coins for silver realness for free. They have treated me well every time and I have not left dissatisfied.
Called to sell silver and was told one price on the phone when I get here they were 4.00 less an Oz than what I was told. I drove over an hour because of what I was told on the phone. Waste of my time.

If you are looking for rare coins or silver and gold this is the place to go. I brought in my silver bars after keeping them for a lot of yrs and made a good profit. They pay good and proper prices for your coins, 1 oz silver bars, and any scrape silver you have laying around. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable and a real pleasure to deal with. If buying or selling silver come here. I highly recommend it
PEOPLE, DO NOT SELL YOUR GOLD HERE. Lifelong local to this region. I've been into Dave's exactly 3 times and I don't plan on returning at all because these guys are hucksters in the precious metals game. Take some scrap gold in and they will try to offer you 50% of the melt price which is totally absurd in this game. They don't know I deal in metals and have vendor accounts for my business at numerous LCS. I'm a refiner and professional goldsmith so I like to temperature check regional shops and this one failed horribly. In fact- worst rates in the entire NW Ohio region which is why I felt the need to post this very honest review. Toledo coin exchange is 45 min North and pays 90% for non-vendors and 93 or 95% for vendors. If you're selling gold, call around. Don't just land on a place and assume they are honest because they have a brick and mortar and seem friendly. Most refiners charge 7-10%(7% any amount over 1oz, 10% any amount over) - so when you see a shop like this pulling this off- it needs called out to protect folks and their money from greedy people like this. If he's buying at 50%, refining for 10%- that's a 40% minimum take on every single customer that sells gold here. In this industry- these are the hucksters you want to steer clear of.
