I haven't actually been here yet but your response to Paul Mesche's review makes me want to drive all the way in from Manhattan just to do business with you. Not sure if you appraise collections of circulated coins but have a lot I Inherited, all silver.
I sent my coins to Tri-State Assets, to evaluate their worth, owner was hard to get at times. They sent my most of my coins back and a nice check.
I have done business with many coin dealers and shops. Tri-State Assets, distinguishes itself because of the knowledge and high character of its principal, Christian Antomelli. He not only loves the history behind rare coins, but he takes great pride in educating his staff and in helping and serving his clients who have diverse needs and interests.
I have done several transactions with Tri-State Assets for the last 7 months. I am a novice in the world of rare coins, and a very skeptical buyer. Christian has absolutely earned my trust, my business, and future referrals. While other companies I have worked with use high pressure, high energy sales pitches, Christian's approach is different. TRI State Assets called me on November 1, 2022 in an attempt to sell some gold coins. We discussed coins they claimed to have available. One which they claimed to have just purchased was of interest. A 1912 Saint Gaudens which they said was in "BU" condition. They sold me a 1912 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle in "BU" condition on November 1, 2022 for $2300.00 AND IMMEDIATELY charged my Visa (something the owner has since denied). After waiting 8 days for a tracking number, I contacted the company. No response, contacted again, .... finally started emailing and calling the owner. Finally, after 14 days, they emailed that THEY COULD NOT DELIVER THE COIN? They did refunded my credit card, but not before attempting to get me to buy something else that was way over priced. Clearly, they made a promise and charged my VISA on 11/1/2022, but never deliver the coin purchased. The owner has disputed the facts of the case so I have ++++ added a PIC of VISA Charge on 11/1/2022 from Tri State Assets. NOTE: owner stated he did NOT charge my card on November 1st. Visa (and I) disagree and the charge record is clear, transaction date November 1, 2022. I also disagree with much of what he wrote. Buyer be ware.+++
