the guy behind the counter is a whinny unfriendly man
Very friendly
Store has been around for at least 50 years with different ownership. Went in there in the 1970s. One of the last vintage coin shops around.
Glenn is the owner he has no communication skills . Hes not open when the posted hours are. He treats you like a second class citizen if there's anyone else in the store. He can't handle more than one person at a time at a time period don't bother going there. There is a coin shop 2 blocks away on fresh pond road better prices better prices better service clean environment Doesn't talk to you like your 5 years old
i’m a relatively new coin collector, started collecting early 2020. started shopping here early 2021 and i come by about once a month. glenn, the owner, is super nice and sweet. very friendly and easy to get along with. very comfortable and homey shop. exactly what i would hope for in a quality coin shop. highly recommended.
Stopped by today to check out the shop. I got there around 11:30 am and met with Glenn. I went in to see what silver coins he had and left with a variety that I am happy with. Glenn gave me a very fair deal, which I appreciate. I do wish there was more in stock but overall I was happy with my visit. Glenn said the shop is open every day Monday - Friday 9 am - 12pm and have him this Trinidad and Tobago dollar with his information to call him when I am around (which was pretty cool). I will definitely stop by again when I am in the area.
