I would not recommend this place. I brought in a 1987 1 oz Gold Britannia. While the coin is 22-karat, it weighs 34.08 g and contains one full troy ounce of pure gold, which is standard for pre-2013 Britannias. The staff insisted on pricing the entire coin as 22k gold, which is incorrect and significantly undervalues the piece. Bullion coins are priced based on fine gold content, not gross purity alone. I went to another dealer in Greece the same day and was offered over 1,000 more for the exact same coin. Very disappointing experience. A dealer should educate and protect their customers — not misprice well-known bullion coins.
