Brought in 14k jewelery which weighed 12.6 grams. Store owner put it on a scale showing 7 grams and offered me scrap price. Where did the 5.6 grams go?— Bobby Delmonte, Mar 2024
Dave and his daughter are so polite and helpfully when I call to place a coin order. I know they will send the best coins as advertised, sight unseen, I have great faith in them. The one time a order was broken into, they re sent it right away. There prices beat all my locally retail shops,by far, and beat the big boys on the internet. Had a good experience. Just beware of dogs…haha…but I can understand why they have them. I can’t respond directly to Bobby Delmonte’s review- but I think the answer to his question about bringing in a 12.6 g piece of jewelry that was 14 karat is that 14 karat is only like 58.3% pure gold. So if you multiply 12.6 by 58.3% it comes out to a little over 7 g of pure gold. So hopefully that was just a misunderstanding there.— Ben Felts, Feb 2025
