This coin shop it's not a professional coin shop you take your coins to him all he wants to give you pennies for your coins the guy should be ashamed to be called a professional coin shop

Stay away from this place. First time visited , angry owner say like dog “ I’m busy “ “ I told you I’m busy “awful place, mass dirt . Try to find different coin store

Great knowledge and very helpful. Welcomes all silver buyers small to large. Years of knowledge in all types of coins including foreign. Buys estates.

This is a wonderful, only in New York City kind of place. Even though I was only there to buy inexpensive but cool old coins for the tooth fairy to give to my daughter, a budding coin collector, the owner spent lots of time with me helping me choose Buffalo nickels, Indian head pennies, and other oldish American coins, giving advice for my daughter, and so on. It was a great experience, and he was so knowledgeable. This was a year or so ago, but I’m really eager to go back. I recommend calling ahead to confirm the hours (it’s an old-school place) before you go.

Lou and his son Phillipe are both really nice guys. Lou has a vast knowledge about seemingly all areas of coin collecting. They are both a pleasure to chat to and work with. Be prepared to get comfortable and start working your way through boxes specially curated for your interests (if you call ahead) I have been going back once a week for a month or so now to chat coins and look through my new curated box of the week. It’s a fun, exciting treasure hunt with Lou and Phillipe as your tour guide. Lou (usually prompted by Phillipe) has a story about most of his coins and if you aren’t careful you could while away the whole afternoon. Last thing I’ll say is once you find your treasure their pricing is extremely fair. Can’t recommend this shop enough. Just make sure to call ahead for their opening times. 10/10

My 8 year old son and I stopped in here today to check it out. So glad we did! We had a great time exploring the coins and chatting. Lou has some great stories and has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Honest and fair with the prices. Lou and his son were very kind to my son and gave lots of helpful tips. He even tossed in a couple extras. My son was so happy and can't wait to go back. Really positive experience for both of us. Reminded me how valuable these kinds of places are with all the online shopping and big box stores out there. We'll be back.

This coin shop is horrible. The owner is a grouchy old man with an attitude problem. He gives lowball offers and the place is dirty and cluttered.

What a great coin shop! Lou and his son, Louis Phillipe, are professional & knowledgeable . They gave me a fair price for my late father's coin and stamp collections. It was enjoyable spending time with both of them. I had total confidence I was dealing with honorable, fair people. I wish I had more to sell so that I had an excuse to see them again. What a wonderful experience! Great neighborhood shop!
