Best place to go in this area. Felix was honest and personable. We went to him with an old ring first. He gave us a price of over $300 and offered to take the emerald out and give it to us. Not having done anything like this before we went to two other businesses. One in the nearby mall said he’d give us $100, one nearby the mall said they’d give us $115. Neither mentioned the emerald. They were total ripoffs. We went back to Felix and he gave us the cash, the emerald and cleaned my wedding rings for me. Do NOT waste your time going anywhere else in New Hartford. Unless you like getting ripped off.

Very nice. Gave me a really fair price on some Morgan dollars and some other silver coins I found cleaning out my grandpa's house. Recommend.

Felix, has never provided me with quality information and accurate exchange rate. Everytime I go in, he greets me with kindness and patients. I wouldn't waste your time going anywhere else to go to sell jewelry or coins.

I visited Felix at Gold Leaf Refining yesterday and had yet another great experience. I’ve been there quite a few times now and every time was a good experience. Felix is very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. I’ve been to him for gold exchange, jewelry repair and was more than satisfied. While he worked he talked with my daughter and I about types of jewelry, art and vintage furniture we like and now we have another reason to go back to Gold Leaf Refinery. Only If I could give 10 stars, Felix well deserves them! I went to see how much some Silver coins i has were worth and I gotta tell you, I was BEYOND impressed with the level of warm welcome you are greeted with. Right away he got his calculator out and told me a solid number which I was very happy with. I recommend Gold Leaf Refining and Felix to anyone who wants a fair value on their precious items and walk out feeling that you made the right choice in coming to see them! Thank you again!

Felix is open, upfront and honest. I was referred to stop here by a friend. I traveled an hour to visit here due to Syracuse business trying to take advantage of me. It was my first time and I can honestly say I'll be stopping here with more silver and gold I have laying around to sell. Felix does look for specific things to purchase so he may not be interested in certain items you may have, however, bring it in and have him take a look and he will be honest with you. I sold Felix a gold coin and some silver coins and was satisfied with his offer. I have been to a numerous amount of gold/coin business in CNY over the last few years and in my opinion he offers the best price and even more appreciative, he is honest and trustworthy. I can't speak on buying items from Felix as I have only sold him items. I can say that I feel that I have found my new go to coin and precious metals shop finally!
