Do NOT sell to him unless you want to get a miniscule rate for your precious gold or silver. I brought a precious family Sterling Silver heirloom to him. I saw on his scale that it weighed 8.21 oz. He offered me $79 when the silver weight price that day was $57/toz. My family is desperate right now due to my Dad's recent health emergency so I had to sell the item but the actual monetary value was over $400 for reference. He is friendly but he refused to answer me when I asked what the weight was, what his rate was, and what units he was using on his scale. His business is a tiny room with chairs squeezed into them. He insisted I and everyone there conduct their personal & private business in front of multiple other customers squeezed into his tiny office. Do NOT recommend at all. I have had higher prices from the thieves at Arlington Silver in Poughkeepsie (don't go there either. Best place is in Albany, NY on Wolf Rd. )— Alex Zweben, Dec 2025
