Do not patronize this business! The operator of this business charged my Mother a ~$1700 fee to buy 5 Gold American Eagles from her. That represents a fee approximately 18% of the transaction value at the time. That is incredibly unethical and unscrupulous to take advantage of an older lady like that. In most dealings of precious metals, the premium is paid at purchase, not at the point of sale. This business saw a lady who didn't know exactly what she had nor how the process went, and took advantage of her!
I highly recommend Brighton Token and Coin. The owner is very honest and knows his stuff. They were very pleasant, gave me a very fair price for my jewelry and were very nice and respectful.
I can't tell you how many times I've been into the store I know there's a lot of people that have been in there more but if you're looking for a LCS that goes above and beyond and it's not just a local coin shop it's a family environment that makes you feel at home treat you with respect treat you with dignity and wants to earn your business there's no beating around the bush if you have nickels dimes quarters half dollars and they have no value other than just face value you're going to get told to just go spend them at the store whether you want to hold on to him that's your decision but. My son has autism and I got to bring him into the store the other day and it was overwhelming but over time and several visits he's going to be great everybody in the shop is great quiet calm cool collective no screaming about what the price is very reasonable as well and if you explain things as far as what you're looking for what your budget is what your goal for stacking what your goal for an end game maybe they're going to be right there to walk you through it great guys one of the best shops around in my opinion
I’ve had nothing but great experiences over about 2 years of going here. They’re very polite and helpful. Also some amazing deals to be found in their “treasure box”. I’ve gotten capped bust dimes for $4, trimes for $3 and many large cents for $3-$6.
