Bought gold and silver in the past, recently went in to sell gold and silver, what a disappointment, limited how much they give you in cash, which changed daily, now they increased what they charge you by an extreme amount. They require you to meet their requirements when buying, then penalized you when you sell. I’ve decided to use online brokers.

Selling too far above spot. Even at peak prices $4 over spot is crazy. Especially when they're not even paying spot buying.

Called 30 minutes before, when I got to the store the price was 20 dollars more

This is a replacement for my original lengthy review which I wrote when I was upset after an unpleasant experience at this store. I decided to get rid of all that for brevity's sake and simply say this: If you are going here to sell, inform yourself about what you're bringing in, and if you receive an offer that doesn't make sense, ask to talk to a manager. (From what the owner said in his response below, I suspect the main problem I had that day was due to an erroneous assessment of my items by the employee I met with.)

Tate is the guy to talk to, but for sure this is the place. Did a survey of all the places in Reno, and I will not go anywhere else now. No bs, they really know their stuff, and when you sit down, they lock in the spot price they pay you. Got a hell of a good education, good prices, absolutely square and fair treatment.

I went in with a vintage generic scripted 10k ring and was pleasantly surprised when they offered approximately $5 less then the current high level melt price. We also had various coins that I didn't know anything about but they were quick to pick out the ones worth more then spending value and were very efficient and professional despite there being a line wrapping from one side of the building to the other they remained on top of it entirely. Karen H. Helped us out and the experience and professionalism expressed by all the staff is top notch. I definitely plan on bringing future coins and jewelry here and will be recommending people to go here in the future. 10/10 and Karen H. Every time I come in to the shop I have a good experience. Cesar is great to deal with and very knowledgeable as are the others. They have fair prices as well. When I don't want to wait for snail mail to show up I just come down to NNC and pick out what I want. Their premiums aren't bad compared to other places. Strongly recommend buying and selling with NNC!
