Cut a larger sheet of gold than what I ordered and then overcharged me and basically said “well it’s cut now so you have to buy it.” No that’s not what was agreed upon. Bad business.

I’ve been a customer for around 10 years and a Rio Grand Pro jewelry artist, and even a Rio Grande Featured Artist, I’m in their website. This place used to be awesome and my go to for anything I needed. Customer service has gone from a 10/10 amazing to zero the last couple years. No longer can anyone pick up an order or do will call. I needed a 50lb box of casting investment today which costs over $40 to ship. I was in Albuquerque and they would not let me swing by and pick it up to because although it weighs 50lbs they now have a 75lb minimum for pickup. Over the past two years I’ve hung in there, still buying from them even with very poor customer service. After this today I’m not doing business with them anymore. They used to take care of customers and make us feel valued. There are other suppliers with better prices, better shipping rates, and real customer service like Stuller & Pepe Tools to name a few. I just wanted to take a moment to express my sadness in the negative changes at Rio Grande. Maybe if I hadn’t of had such great experiences with this company it the past I wouldn’t be so disappointed now. In talking to other friends in the industry they feel the same. ☹️

Fraud and the worst service. I made a purchase for the first time, ordered a 14ga (0.064") sterling silver sheet. The sheet I got was only 0.05" thick which corresponds to 17ga. When I wrote to solve the problem, manager said that "they checked their sheets" although I sent them a photo proof, and advised me to go to another shop. Good advice, Rio Grande, never again! I can't believe such a reputable company provides such bad service.

I adore this place. These photos show a bunch of different things I made with their wire. They always have really great customer service. They offer discounts to businesses. Their wire is always very supple. You're always met with friendliness and it's really easy to look for what you need.

Only gave 3 stars because I haven't ordered from them since BH first bought the company. Before that I could call and actually talk to the people who made the videos, who worked with the products, get detailed advise on a process or get forwarded to someone who knew. I'm really sad & angry that BH has ruined a wonderful mom&pop company. I keep wishing that small business' wouldn't sell out to huge companies but how can they resist the money? Bye bye.

10 year customer, artist, and business owner. I am sick of subpar service, inaccurate weights and product quality. I cannot believe you have really gone this far down hill. There is so much competition for rio grande to act better than the rest. No longer purchasing from Rio.
