Such a cute spot to either study or just catch up with you friends. The pastries were all delicious, and their coffee amazing!! I had their Honey Lavander latte and it made my day.

I’ve been to Thumbody multiple times but this last experience I had was a turn off. I ordered online and usually I’m greeted upon arrival but it was particularly so I waited patiently. After they completed the orders of other guests, I was finally approached but unfortunately in a rude manner. When I told them I placed an order online they tried to chastise me for not going straight to the front where orders are typically placed. I let them know I wasn’t aware of how mobile order pick up works. The guy said “I saw you come in but I didn’t know what you were doing” instead of acknowledging and welcoming in a costumer they chose to ignore me and then make rude remarks about how I went about picking up my mobile order when I made it clear I simply wasn’t aware of the process. Maybe make the mobile pick up process more clear? And greet your guests as they come in especially if they may simply just be confused and trying not to get in the way. It doesn’t need to be met with slick remarks and mockery. Especially when it’s black man to black women. We should be sticking together not trying to one up each other. The coffee is always good but I guess the energy is just off. Mobile order at your own risk and be prepared to teach them good customer service skills.

This place was top notch and truly a hidden gem. The seating is amazing and the whole vibe in this place is so enjoyable. The guys behind the counter are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the coffee and their products, which you don’t find very often. The food was delicious, I came with a big group and we all got different food items and passed them around to try. Nothing disappointed! I had an iced vanilla latte with half and half and ube cold foam and I loved it. I have tried many coffee shops in bergen county as well as around new jersey and this just made its way up to #1 in my rankings. I will be going back really soon! PS if you are using GPS to get there really pay attention, it’s in the bottom of an office building and very easy to miss the turn!

Seriously the best matcha around! The ube pan de sol and guava & cheese pan de sol are also soooo good but I come one a week for the matcha, it’s easily the best around. The vibe is chill and cozy, great place to hang or get some work done. Staff are so nice. Wasn’t a fan of the regular iced latte, it was too milky.

Hidden gem located in Paramus! Has amazing vibes perfect for a coffee date or even if you want a spot to do some work! I ordered the Hot Kashmir Cardamom Latte and it was the exact flavors I wanted! Staff and management are super inviting and gave me great recommendations on the bakery goods! I had the ube and the guava and cheese pandesal which were super yummy! Def worth checking out!

First time here. My husband sent me a video on this coffee shop the other day and we literally were next door at the shopping center. So it was a no brainer we had to come. Got their cold brew with Thai syrup. One of the best cold brews I had so far this year in 2026. Amazing. Staff was lovely, and helpful. Space was cool, and beautifully decorated. Overall a great chill spot, will continue to support and come here when I’m in the area.

Don't let the office-forward exterior fool you. This cafe might be located on the ground floor of the most nondescript building, but that also means plenty of parking. What it lacks in curb appeal, it more than makes up for with a cozy and chill ambiance. The mural of album covers is a cool nod to the cafe's part DNA as a vinyl records shop. This also means the playlist at Thumbody is always fantastic. There are plenty of tables, chairs, and counters to find a place to hang or work, so that even on a busy weekend morning, my friend and I had no trouble staking out a spot. As someone trying to cut coffee out of her life, I loved to see mentions of matcha and ube on the menu. That led me quite naturally to order The Hulk, their signature matcha and ube latte. With bright and foamy purple and green layers, this drink caught stares all the way from the counter to our table. It's clearly a drink made for the 'gram, but with actual substance by way of taste. Having read some reviews on The Hulk, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to taste the distinct but subtle flavors, but I was surprised by how well they complemented each other. Sure, stirring the layers together turned the two colors into more of an ugly, mottled green, but it became a gorgeous, 'not-that-sweet' drink that we Asians love so well. Everyone behind the counter is friendly and efficient. Every time I looked up, I saw them moving like a machine to churn out a regular flurry of new drink orders. That there was such a steady flow of customers during the hour or so I was there seems to suggest what a hotspot this has become in the neighborhood. I didn't get to try any pastries this visit, but judging from the high praise in previous reviews it looks like I'll have to go back to give these a try.
