I’ve been in the process of going through saved family items recently - some of which I wasn’t sure if it had value. My jeweler in Morristown recommended Stone House, assuring me that they were both fair and honest. That they were! I’ve made 3 trips, and each time I’ve left delighted with the experience. They quickly and expertly evaluated what I brought to them…and patiently gave me an unexpected education on the assessment of the pieces I brought to the store. The business is not limited to coins, jewelry can also be assessed. No matter what the valuations are, these gentlemen make you feel glad you stopped by.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I read the reviews and figured it had to be a good spot. Went in to buy some foreign coins and everyone was so nice and helpful. Was a super quick trip but they were more than happy to help me with all of my questions. If I could rate above 5 stars I truly would. I am the founder of a non-profit dog rescue called Buddha Pooch Dog Rescue Project. I went in to get some guidance on on some silver coins I personally had in hopes to help fund a dog I pulled from the Newark shelter. Not only did my experience exceed my expectations, the shop donated $100 to my cause of saving local NJ dogs. To say the least, there were tears shed & I was able to help this dog in need. Working in rescue, you realize that there are a lot of cruel people in the world but Stone House Coin Shop exemplifies the best of humanity.

My father left us a silver bar and a number of silver and gold coins. I knew these would be worth something but I didn't realize they would be worth a five-figure amount. I had gone to another coin shop first for a quote, before going to Stone House. Stone House beat the offer from the other shop by about $2,000. I was really, really impressed with their honesty and great service. I'll definitely be back when I have more gold or silver items to sell. Easy 5 stars.
