Frustrating Experience: Rude Manager, Subpar Products, and a No-Refund Policy The first red flag was the manager's demeanor. From the moment I approached them with a concern about a defective product, their attitude was nothing short of rude and dismissive. It was clear that they had little interest in assisting me and showed a complete lack of empathy for my situation. A manager should be a customer's ally, a person who can help resolve issues and provide support, but in this case, it was quite the opposite. The product itself was a major letdown. Not only did it fail to meet the basic standards of quality that one would expect, but it also showed signs of shoddy craftsmanship. It was evident that corners had been cut in the manufacturing process, resulting in a product that was not only subpar but also potentially unsafe to use. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this entire experience was the company's no-refund policy. This policy, in my opinion, is unacceptable, especially when dealing with products that are clearly defective or not up to standard. It feels like a slap in the face to customers who have invested their hard-earned money in a product that falls so far short of expectations. In light of these experiences, I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from this company. The combination of a rude manager, poorly made products, and an inflexible refund policy creates an environment that is anything but customer-friendly. It's a shame, because with some improvements in both product quality and customer service, this company could have a lot of potential. In the end, my hope is that the company will take these criticisms to heart and work towards creating a more positive and customer-centric experience for future patrons. Until then, I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere for their needs.

If I could give zero stars, I would! On October 4, 2024, my daughter and I entered Rumi, where there were two workers—a young woman with braids and glasses and another with black hair. As soon as we walked in, one of them ran to the back, and the other hovered over us the entire time, despite there being over eight other customers in the store. While I’m reluctant to mention race, the treatment was so blatantly discriminatory, I can’t ignore it. I will no longer support stores that are willing to take the Black dollar but treat Black customers as if they’re thieves. This is unacceptable, and I refuse to tolerate it.

Good prices for cute and decent quality items. I usually just stop to pick out a gift and leave, but I went earlier this week and one of their coworkers was pushy and bossy towards me and one of her younger coworkers. I felt bad so I just got one item and tried to leave quickly. After I went to the register, she kept yelling at the other one from the back of the store to go to the register even though she was right next to it. Hopefully they look into it and their younger employees don’t continue to get mistreated like this :(

I went to Rumi and bought a gold bracelet with flowers on it for $11 and it instantly broke a few hours after. Some of the pendants on the flower broke off the bracelet even when i didn’t make ANY contact with the bracelet, besides wearing it. I didn’t mess with it, pick at it, or anything. A few days later the bracelet snapped in half. The product quality isn’t worth its price.

The worker there today was rude from the moment we stepped in and was quick to scold. Very unwelcoming and condescending when answering questions. Opening any packaging to double check the item matches with the one you’re interested in is not allowed whatsoever which would be fine if it wasn’t for the no exchange, no refund policy. I’m not spending money on an item if I can’t confirm it’s the specifications I need. Horrible customer service. I walked out immediately because I refuse to spend my money after being treated disrespectfully. I would have purchased the item if she had been nicer.
