My dad and I made a good buck on our gold on a saturday and we left educated on what we had. Earl was very thorough and gave us his undivided attention while he taught us about what to look for in our jewelry. We highly recommend Byram Jewelers.

Store is a total rip-off, do not go there to trade in gold or silver. Will give you less money than any other dealer in NJ. Stay away from this location.

Went here to sell a gold necklace, bracelet and charm for the necklace all solid gold. 14K. An older bald gentleman told me my gold was fake immediately. He said the color was off and it was too light in weight to be real. He took off his own personal necklace and said mine is real see the color difference, yours is fake. He would not even test it, even though I had the receipts for all three pieces that I bought from a well-known reputable jewelry store and the original boxes and all paperwork. He told me the company I bought from robbed me and that I should contact a lawyer, but refused to test any of the pieces. Towards the end of our conversation, he insinuated that I may even be trying to scam him. At that point I left. I brought the three pieces to Roxbury coin which tested them on the spot no questions asked and I got more money than I expected for them. I told the owner and his daughter in Roxbury what happened and they told me they get a lot of customers from Byram with very similar stories to mine. They also showed me that my gold was the same color as all of their gold. If you have any doubts here, I would absolutely get a second opinion. I would never go back to this establishment for any reason.

Brought something in to be repaired, unfortunately the item to be repaired needed to be done by the company that built the item. The gentlemen working there took the time to explain the process and even attempted to find a place that could properly fix the item. While they could not help me I would venture to say that, what I got from the jeweler was worth more then the repair would have cost me. That is, excellent customer service and knowledge.

Had 2 broken diamond rings. Jeff repaired both and cleaned them up so they looked like new. My engagement ring was broken in the band, and it looks like it was never cracked at all. I also gave him my wedding band to clean up and it looks better than the day I bought it, which was 28 years ago.
