Got some Maui Jim shades as a gift and wasn’t my style. Stopped in to sell, figured quick cash. Had gift receipt from Maui website as well and shades are brand new in box so wanted to ensure they knew they weren’t stolen. Got told offer couldnt be higher then 1/3 of what they sell on eBay for. Offers me $30 when used “sold” listing on eBay never dipped under $150 lol. They advertise 40-60% retail but when you show up it’s actually 33% of worse condition sold they can find (they just lie if that’s too high). I even said I see them on eBay sell for $150 so I’m not expecting that. $30 tho? Still in box, price on the box is $280 lmao. Just saying, don’t lie on your website to get people in the door. Obv a place that buys stolen stuff off junkies as a business and thinks $30 is reasonable. Luckily I just wanted the cash to get myself something I saw on marketplace in that area and figured not spending my own money would be ideal when I was otw there. To be clear, offer whatever you want, no problem with that. It’s the misleading advertising that takes place and the lying about what they sell for to my face when I see the same sold listings that you do.

If you are looking to even get half of the value for what the item you are selling sells on eBay go to a different pawnshop, they only offer a third of the value here, tried offering me $65 for a Nintendo switch three games and a case easily can get double that at any of the week buy anything pawn shops.

I have never left a pawnshop as many times as I have here feeling I was treated fairly, and given fair value for pawns or sales. GREAT people who take the uncomfortable part completely out of it! Glad to have them right down the road!

Great people. I got $150 for my sport cards years ago which was great. they gave me a great deal on my selling my gold necklaces and a good deal on pawning my mother’s ring. Truly great people, offer great deals and they make sure it beats everyone elses. Love this shop.
