If you are looking to sell your old coins , comics or sports cards go to Tom. Nobody knows more about coins, cards, and comics then Tom. He's fair.

Called to find out info on selling rare coins, and the person who answered the phone has no real interest in buying rare coins. So if you are looking to sell go somewhere else.

Drove 2 hrs to visit this store and they weren’t even open during open hrs. Complete waste of time

My husband and I wondered in there, just to look around. Very cramped, the owner is extremely rude and doesn't seem to know anything about customer service. I'm surprised he's still in business. He brought us down to the basement where the comic book collection is & I didn't want to go down because it seemed sketchy. I was told "that's not how this works" and "we all have to stay together". You automatically get treated like a thief when you walk in. Unfortunely, we made a purchase & he was all smiles after that. Won't be going there again.

As a lot of people here have mentioned, Tom may or may not be nice to you, may or may not allow you to look around, may or may not allow you to purchase something, may or may not kick you out, may or may not make a rude remark, may or may not allow you to actually talk to him about all of his wonderful items, experiences, and collecting tales. If you are wise enough to know when you should leave and come back a few days later, you likely will eventually be offered a Dr. Pepper and a chair outside to start your negotiations on purchases. Have patience, this is a good man with many flaws, just like almost every person on the planet. Remember, he owns the items and has the right to sell them for whatever he wants. May I suggest the first few visits you simply drop a list of items that you are looking for and come back a few days later, his preferred method of operation. I like Tom, his store, and being around him (most days).

If I could rate this store a zero I would. I called ahead several days ago asking if they will buy comic books. I was told yes only old ones. I packed a good selection to bring in and arrived today. I was practically kicked out by the owner after I accidentally knocked over a metal object which was unharmed and I picked up. Apparently, a car had hit his business and things were in disarray. He said he was too busy and had no time to look at my stuff I was not expecting immediate service I was willing to leave the comic books behind. Never do business with this crotchety old man.

Quite unique and amazing shop. The owner has impressive in not even one of the biggest coin collections in the area. He is extremely knowledgeable on the topic and if you get to interact with him for a bit you can see he’s quirky but overall he’s a good guy. He doesn’t collect junk I tell you that. This store is a must stop in you are a coin/comic book collector or you are into thrift finds of any kind.

Since Tom’s is closed I now go to 3D Relics in downtown Minot. They have a great selection of toys and comics.
