MonDak Pawn is one of the best stores in Dickinson!!! Great deals, low prices, and friendly staff! I go there about once a week to see what is new, obviously it is pawn shop and they always are changing what they have in-stock. The best store in town for deals on guns, they get in some very unique pieces for fair and reasonable price. So many people don't know about this place and it is a shame! I had to give one star to post but Zero stars would be the most accurate and deserving rating I can give this place based on how poorly my experience was and the dissatisfaction felt leaving there. The staff that was working is clearly incompetent considering she turned me away for a Blu-ray player that 'didnt work' even though I tested it before (and after), and the problem she had was the disc tray not opening, yet it does, so the problem was her impatience. Of course if it had been broken I obviously wouldn't expect her to take it, but then the acrimonious way of telling me shes "just going to assume everything else I have is broken" is what really threw me off. Why would I waste my time going in there unless everything I had was functional. Her unprofessionalism and unfriendly nature makes me wonder how this place is still operating. I'm sure others have had better luck dealing with her, but unfortunately my encounter left me feeling like I was some scum-bag trying to pull a fast one on her and scam her out of money by selling none working items. Wouldn't even waist your time, the lady i had 2 left bows i bought for my wife that she can't pull back and we're trying to see if she wanted to trade it in for a bow my wife could pull back, she asked me why i was selling 2 nice bows. Asked me to make an offer i have her an offer and she said she couldn't, just a waist of my time. I will sell my bows online and buy her one somewhere else. Just a joke.— Aaron Lambert, May 2024

I called in attempt to sell some like new tools and a woman answered. I asked if I could send her photos to get a quote because I live very rural. She agreed but I felt like she was extremely rude. She giggled as a response to my questions as though I was trying to sell stolen tools. I'm a struggling mom of four and was hoping to sell my tools to pay some of my bills. I didn't read reviews prior to calling and I wish I would've. Apparently I'm not the only one that has dealt with such rude employees/owners. I will take my business elsewhere🙌— heart.
