I started my gold and silver stacking journey around this time last year. Since then, he and his team have been my ONLY go to for all my gold and silver needs. They really are the best in NC with both price and variety. I had a great experience at Hoffman Gold & Exchange in Gastonia. Mr. Hoffman and the rest of the crew were incredibly personable and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to buy anything, which really stood out to me. I’ve been a loyal customer at a well-known shop in Charlotte for many years, and honestly, I wish I had found Hoffman’s sooner. Even though this was my first visit, it felt like I had known them for years. What really impressed me was that their premiums on both silver and gold beat anywhere I’ve seen in Charlotte. The surrounding area is safe, unlike some parts of Charlotte, and it’s not too far — definitely worth the drive. Combined with the relaxed, professional atmosphere and genuine customer service, it made for an outstanding experience. I’m looking forward to continuing my relationship with Hoffman’s and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy coin shop.

Employees are friendly and informative! The owner is a real straight-shooter with a refreshing personality. Prices are more than fair, and the selection is out of this world. I always enjoy dropping in to visit everyone and pick up a few unique pieces. It's a full experience you just can't get anywhere else. Where to begin! After coming in to a collection from a loved one who passed away, it was overwhelming attempting to research everything and figure out what company we could trust. I had been calling around places for about a year until I reached out to Hoffman's. Immediately over the phone I could tell this was the right business to trust. We came in and worked mostly with Greg and Wes and they took everything in stride; taking the time to meticulously review every single item we brought in but also taking the time to talk to us and chat between. And when I say meticulously it cannot be overstated. We had four full boxes and they spent over an hour reviewing everything and explaining their process. We even got to spend some time talking to Mark, who was incredibly knowledgeable and took time he did not have to take educating me on gold and silver throughout the years. Their showroom is also incredible -- so many fun pieces to look at and they are more than willing to pull something out and tell you about it. I could not recommend this company and family more and if I'm ever lucky enough to have more things to bring them I wouldn't hesitate. Thanks so much for the hospitality!
