This is a full service coin store. The owner is super nice. His prices are customer friendly. I've been a collector since 1962 and I will be going back to his store when I'm in town.
I went to a coin show in Wilmington NC and visited this particular booth run by the owner of Coin Junction. I asked him what was his price on 2 half dollar coins which he responded. I then offered a counter price which he quickly dismissed me and walked away. First of all it’s a coin show not a retail store the prices are always negotiable at any of these I’ve been to in the past. I’ve never seen someone act so childish over a counter offer for a coin. It’s not that serious… I couldn’t understand why he was so offended!!! He could’ve easily said no that’s my best price I can’t do any better which I’ve been told before and accepted that no problem. I would’ve paid his price and moved on. This particular booth and owner of this coin store acted like I personally offended him in some way. After 30 min I even tried to come back around as a second attempt to look at that same coin, thinking maybe he’s cooled off…. at this point I wasn’t even going to ask for a better price seeing it offended him so much on the previous visit. He looked at me and said no when I asked to just view the coin. I even tried to explain to him that if I offended him in some way that wasn’t my intention he just said no not interested and walked away. Honestly I was very surprised by his childish behavior if that’s the way he conducts business then I hope he doesn’t return to any coin shows in the future and I hope he treats other customers with more respect than what he showed me!!! very disappointing!!!

Raymond has been a pleasure to work with over multiple transactions. He has no problem with sharing knowledge as well as a professional opinion when asked.
