I am from out of town (Pittsburgh PA) and we dont have so many pawn shops up north. Upon entering I commented to an owner that this shop was both big and well-stocked! He laughed and said it was actually more empty than ever due to pandemic (no laptops or computers at all)! But to me this place was great - many tools, jewelry, guitars - selection and prices were great, and guns! Too bad I cant buy a gun down here since I am not a NC resident! I found a great Fender Telecaster guitar and am simply debating if I need another one or not!
Completely unimpressed with the customer service and just about insulted by the offer for items I brought to sell. I was offered $40 for a watch I sold to a different shop later that same day for $250. This place goes on the list of places for when you’re past desperate. So, I guess I’ll return when I’ve developed a substance addiction and have hit rock bottom.
I’ve made several purchases there, the staff is always pleasant to talk to and inviting. Never make you feel unwelcome when you’re just window shopping. Highly recommend
Wont honor their sticker price on items in their showcase. Picked out three coins and as soon as I go up to pay they say “these are going to cost more”. Ridiculous
I bought a 10k gold necklace for about 1,500 I put it on layaway for a little bit, and went to pick it up, and started wearing it for not even 3 months, and next thing I know it starts turning colors, so I get to looking at it, and it’s 18k, so they switched out the one I picked out originally, and gave me a fake one, so I do not recommend shopping from here. They will rip you off !!
