Favorite card shop in NC! Not only are they fair and willing to negotiate, but it’s a place I enjoy opening packs and relaxing. Takes a special kind of place! Always will have my business.

Staff had what I had asked for before I had called in before I came sure above retail but If you’re a collector or love to use the cards to play the game, it makes sense at the time of purchase it’s sold at market price. while bittersweet that’s the way it is, I love the selection will definitely be coming back.

A few thoughts about Catch ‘em collectibles.. I got back into collecting in 2021 before the craze.. I started looking around NC for card shops to look at items not available in retail stores. I will say this, they have a very good selection! And the two guys running it are very friendly and helpful when I visit. The prices are very very steep though, I understand market prices are egregious right now but at the end of the day, this is a hobby for mainly children. I’m afraid collectible shops like these are making huge profits based on this and ruining the hobby. I hope the market stabilizes. On the other hand, there are plenty of other shops. Pokemonster in Newton, all things collectible in kannapolis, and mighty meeple in concord (more magic the gathering) and Rally Squirrel!! have noticed these places are more willing to negotiate and have lower prices. As a small business, I understand the need to make money but look out for your customers! We love the hobby! Not the business!

I was impressed by their collection of both modern & vintage stuff! Picked up some Build and Battle Boxes and Two SIRs (Gholdengo Ex & Galvantula Ex), as well as a mystery pack. It comes with an ultra rare (V, VMax, Ex, Gx, etc) and a random pack that can vary in price from $5.00 to $60.00. A great shop for any Pokemon fan!

Less than thrilled with this store. They are actively contributing to the Riftbound TCG scalping issue by not having purchase limits on booster boxes. Allowing one person to purchase 6 booster boxes is absurd when the product is already so difficult to find. Initially made this a 2 star review but they truthfully don’t deserve that many. Before the owner or whomever responds to their other Google reviews decides to leave of of his/her smart ass responses to this review like they do to others who give any sort of criticism, please do some introspection and also think of things from a consumer perspective. All of those boxes are going to end up on eBay in a few hours for more than you sold them for (selling them for double MSRP like you do is also a crap thing to do, day the way). It’s not like you would be losing money by putting purchase limits on the boxes.

★★★★★ As a longtime Pokémon collector, I’m beyond impressed with this shop. The card quality was exactly as described, everything was sleeved and protected, and the pricing was very reasonable—especially for harder-to-find cards. It’s rare to find a store that cares this much about condition and authenticity. Highly recommend! I found the staff to be super friendly and enjoyed the conversation about the hobby !

A very well stocked Pokémon card shop. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and considerate. They stock a wide variety of singles, slabs, domestic and Japanese individual packs as well as many Elite Trainer Boxes at fair market prices. This place is definitely worth checking out. There is classic rock/1970’s AM radio hits for your listening pleasure to enjoy while you browse the impressive selection on hand.
