0Do not bother this guy. He is too busy to answer simple questions. Trust me take your business elsewhere.— John, Jan 2026

This place is wonderful! I drive an hour to come here and Iโll keep coming back. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They have an incredible selection of bullion and numismatic so I never get bored getting the same stuff and they usually have what Iโm looking for. Prices are lower than anything listed in findbullionprices so I donโt even think twice if Iโm overpaying any purchase large or small. I absolutely LOVE the history and information Mike shares if I donโt know much about something!! He definitely adds to the excitement of buying coins! I recommend this shop to everyone— MICAH McCoubrey, Feb 2023
Straight up, fair market based rates. They quote weight price for most Silver Coins. Sovereign coins are still weight price quoted. We will deal with them again, please note they also buy gold jewelry.— Stephen, Dec 2025
I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the owner/staff of Steinmetz. My 10 year old is a beginning collector. The staff is always so kind to him and are willing to answer questions. My son's budget is small, but they have a good variety for him to pick from. They also have a good variety that he dreams of owning when his budget is larger. :-D Thank you! We will definitely be back!— Diane, Oct 2025
I went to this store today and waited in line about 20 minutes. 4 or 5 Customers walked through the door after me and were all helped by staff before me. I tried to get the attention of the staff, and mentioned I was waiting in line first, but they would not even acknowledge my presence or make eye contact with me. I left and went to Security Rare Coins in Lancaster and had a great experience. Security Rare Coins staff were very friendly and kind, and paid slightly more for my silver coins. I'm never going back to Steinmetz.— Wesley Boyd, Dec 2025
Would never buy again--especially online, sight unseen. I reached out to Steinmetz through their website contact form due to the issues with my order, and have received no response after four business days. The lack of customer care or even the curtesy to respond makes them a definitive "nope" in my book. Purchased three sets of five uncirculated modern Lincoln rolls, as well as three old circulated rolls of Lincoln cents. The OBW rolls arrived separated in groups of five, but they were mixed together and the five that were labeled were marked with the wrong date/mint. Furthermore, there were five end-to-end rolls with no date or label, mixed throughout. I paid for unopened rolls and got mystery rolls that, due to the carelessness and lack of response from this company had to be opened, effectively reducing their value if I wanted to sell them off years down the road. I also received an incorrect roll that, while the cost difference was marginal, will lead me to having to buy a replacement roll somewhere else, effectively paying shipping again. As for the circulated rolls, all three were rubbish with many unreadable dates and mintmarks that required using a 60x loupe to even tell what they are. These are cull coins that the shop knows they can't sell to collectors, and they know I can't either. Instead, they slipped them into rolls and marketed it for sale as a specific date/mint knowing they aren't worth anything to their own customers. Of the 150 coins, 29 are in nigh-unsellable condition. I'd be lucky to sell half in pre-made starter albums. The other 15 are literally useless (see example photos, taken through 60x magnification).— T O, Oct 2025
