BEWARE!!!! I wish I could give zero stars. A few months ago, I received a quote of $1,600 for a vintage, authentic pearl necklace. I was interested in selling it to Mr. Kelson, as I wasn’t interested in traveling to the location of the first appraiser & wasn’t comfortable shipping the piece. Upon Kelson’s request, I sent him a photo of the item with a very detailed description of the piece. He called me within 20 seconds of me hitting ‘send’, and stated my piece is only worth $20-100. First of all, every appraiser I’ve spoken to said you cannot appraise an item or even guesstimate its value via pictures, and secondly- there is no way this piece is worth anywhere close to even the higher end of his quote ($100). My grandmother only purchased expensive pieces, and I know for an absolute fact the other quotes I’ve received are much more accurate.
