It is the first time I've been to Hertels. Very impressed with the young gentleman and lady that work there. I was selling some silver coins and rounds. Seemed ok. The second time was an experience. I think it was the young man's brother. I don't like giving bad reviews, so I'm going to go get a couple of quotes from some other coins shops in the area. Then go see what kind of quote they give me. To be continued. The 4 stars are not the final view. Please don't judge from them yet. Went there last week after getting quotes from other shops in the Fox Valley area. They actually offered more than the other 3 shops. , so I diffinetly change my opinion. AAA+ Company to deal with. Lesson learned.

Went there today. They were great and easy to work with. I had tons of notes and they took the time with me to go through how I had it organized. Highly recommend.

This is the only place I will take my coins and jewelry! I was nervous of getting taken advantage of not knowing much about my coin collection, but the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly they educated me on what I had and gave me the best offer for the collection. This place has become my go to place for all things related to coin collecting and precious metals. They truly know their stuff and are fair on pricing on both sides of a deal. Never been disappointed on anything I've gotten from them.

I highly recommend Hertel’s Coins. The staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. I have been to their shop numerous times and always feel welcomed and enjoy dealing with Shaun, Scott and Brandy. They are trustworthy and I always feel that I am getting the best price for my items.

We walked in on a Wednesday morning carrying a box full of coins, bills, and other items collected over a couple of generations of our family. Scott and Shaun carefully evaluated everything on the spot and gave us an honest and quite fair assessment of the value. We gratefully accepted a cash payment that exceeded our expectations. Walking through the doors I was welcomed in by Brandy and introduced to Scott to help with some inquiries on a few coins. Purchasing coins from the storefront was very convenient to see the coins in hand. I was able to ask questions with multiple associates on ways to positively add to the value of my collection. I found the passion they expressed for coins very comforting. I was able to talk with Shaun and pick his brain a bit. I am so very blessed to have found a very straightforward group of people to invest with.
