I came back here in 2021 after the tragedy there.I asked this old heavy set older man to appraise a ring that was given to me.He told me it was worth about 3800 honestly.I have had jewelry for 35 years expensive. I know what my jewelry is worth but I was ready for a change I came back to the same place said he was fair no he is not don't waste your time he is a very low baller.The same ring with 2.5 carat real not man made diamond he offered me 136.00 for my ring.The fact is these places maybe able to pay a couple of hundred but bring something in worth at couple of Grand they can afford it but they can't it must not be in the budget this is Mississippi I know they don't believe in paying off that kind of money to people of color. Either way you will not get fair market value. I want to add I have many many pieces it wasn't a need I just wanted something new. And yes my jewelry was 100% real he said he couldn't pay me for the diamonds lol.I am a business woman never have I heard of that as a businessman your old enough to know this but when you're not fair to your customers you're not going to have any good luck no wonder the parking lot is always empty. And the people that's giving you five stars that must be family and friends I knew about this place way before you came along.
Well it's been awhile, but i will tell you this! I read alot of these reviews and it's B.S. thats rt B.S. They got to have friends and relatives writing for them, because everyone i know has experienced the low balling and cheap appraisal from them. I think they should not be in business. Someone needs to investigate or shut them down!!!
They are very fair and friendly. We enjoyed the experience. We will definitely use them in the future for all of our coins and gold.
Best coin shop, best employees and owners I've ever met in my short 37 yrs of life and 6yrs of stacking. Location - don't listen to others without a grain of salt - I felt safe as anywhere else in JACKSON. The selection is hands down the best I've seen in three states I've lived in. Colorado and Florida were ehh..and MS is the best - wow! They even have arrow heads they have a huge jar of coins from all over the world for cheeaappp! They're honest I don't care what any others have said. I left with confirmation of my 18k box chain purity, clarity on some Numistatics and a free t shirt! Support local - trade your fiat for God's money - silver and gold!!!!!
The shop has a good selection and decent prices. As long as you are buying, you'll be ok. Now if you are selling, this is not the place for you. They run the shop like a pawn shop, not a coin shop. Expect very low offers for you metals, nowhere near spot. I brought some silver eagles to see how honest they were and they offered 30% lower than spot. This is when the market was normal. I had been purchasing for 3 years consistently and have spent over 15k with them. No consideration, all about them. So again, if you are buying, you will generally be ok, don't try to sell and be treated with respect.
