Honest, good people at this shop. Have shopped here for years, and it is my favorite place for guns/ammo/deals.
I went on Wednesday and didn't know they were closed on Wednesday. Only reason I gave one star.
Very friendly people that work here. But just don't go there for ammo right now. They buy it at Academy Sports down the road and then charge triple the price. Yes just about every gun shop has high prices on ammo because of how much it is costing them from their distributors right now. Pretty much all ammo prices are going up everywhere because of high demand, covid and the election comming up so charging more because of high demand and your costs to get it is understandable. But to buy ammo from a store that is one of the cheapest places to buy ammo right now especially locally is messed up. Its hard to get ammo at big box stores as is because they are the only places not price gouging. So to go buy some to resell when a family or someone really needs it and can't afford 40 dollars for one box of ammo is messed up. That takes away from the already small quantities places like Academy gets in. Academy is still normal pricing for the most part and people buying it to sell it for more down the street is not right to the fellow gun owners and basically gives them no option but to go to places like this and pay whatever they are charging. Like I said very nice people here. But it should be known so people know before they go in for ammo.
i like these guys. picked up a pistol a couple weeks ago and getting an AR this week. staff are knowledgeable and courteous. ammo prices decent about 40 cents a round for target 9mm. on gunbroker you can get it down to 30 cents but you have to buy about 3000 rounds worth
