Bad Business. I had a HORRIBLE experience at this store in Philadelphia. I had been warned about this place and I should have listened- now they have OVER $2000 of my money and haven't refunded my money despite me leaving the store with NOTHING in hand. THEY SPENT ALOT OF TIME SMILING AND ACTING FRIENDLY TO GET MY MONEY but that all changed once they had it. Plainly put; they tricked me... I attempted to purchase jewelry for my wife and a gun for myself. After making the purchase of a ring and a shotgun I was then told that they'd have to stop the sale even though it was 5 minutes after I had swiped my card- I have yet to see my money and yet they continue to rip people off. I later bought the shotgun at a different store for over $100 LESS! These people are SCAMMERS with a legal business if you ask me.

Brother paid in full for a shotgun. He was told that due to him being a 20 there would be a 2 week wait for the background check. He called after 2 weeks to tell them he was coming to pick it up, and was told it would be another 2 week wait. After waiting 4 weeks total after his first visit they told him that his background check was expired by 2 weeks when he went to pick it up. After telling the man at the counter that he was told the wait was extended, the man just said he never said that and shut us down. Instead of refunding all his money, they kept a portion as a restocking fee as well. They gave him nothing but the walk around the whole time. Horrible experience all the way, and no one I know will ever give them business.

James was very kind and helpful upon entering the store. I appreciated him offering a warranty since I had bought it online it wasn't offered at the time. He also explained how the warranty works. Overall I would highly recommend their business when seeking a pawn shop to buy from.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My fiance is a collector and has good money to spend for his collection. He found 3 guns that he wanted for his personal collection. Him and the owner worked out a deal for all 3 and he was really excited. He was told to pay first before he even filled out the forms which was odd but okay. When they were getting started, my fiance mentioned he preferred paper forms but didn't complain. Then came the waiting. Almost 2 hours for something that should have taken around 20 minutes! All because the tablet is "touchy". The man that was helping kept putting other customers in front of us, made us wait for almost 20-30 minutes after filling out the paperwork to send it off, got an attitude about things after it came back rejected. He made the remark "well you changed an answer" because his finger may have grazed the screen when hitting next and accidentally changed something. Everything was fine and dandy until the owner asked my fiance where he worked. After that, his attitude changed and he walked off and its almost like he told the employee to make us wait. The whole thing was miserable. Things could have been handled better and more professional. We will not be returning.
